Great review! I believe the Samsung galaxy Tab A is a great little tablet for the money! You can't go wrong with Samsung if you want an android tablet. I have the Samsung galaxy note 2014 which was still working great until some days ago until my 1 year.old.boy decided to through it on the floor… 😢 So now I am after a new one… iPads are great but I am not an apple guy so I would go for the tab a. What do you think for Lenovo M10 plus (2020 model) comparing with the tab a? That would be interesting.. Great review again! By the way, great photos from Athens, Greece 📸📸
I have both and my ipad has become basically my gaming pad and my galaxy is for everything else.
If I had to choose one I'd choose the galaxy just because I prefer its compactness and I do more with it.
I wish ipad would lose the bezels and make it a bit smaller!

I think that IOs volume is the worst because they can't go really quite with ibout of sound but samsung can do all of that.the IOS company show hate to Andriods which is why they are so popular I have lots of experience for both of them and they both can do loads of things that are useful and annoying.The first device I ever used was IOS but now way into the future from 2014 I've stopped and my mum got me an android.My IOS stopped working because of this put your password in to download an app?!?i have no idea of that use ,it is simply a waste of time if u forget the password anyways.i have a big sister and she is using IOS i lve seen teenagers crowded with the love of iPhones and don't know why

The value for the iPad will give you a longer mileage than the tab a 10.1. Apple will still provide support where as Samsung will drop it after a year. You will be better off with an iPad.
I have always used IPhone but I love my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 it’s very fast and loading I got mine on contract with 3 Mobile
I have the new iPad and couldn’t be happier. I guess I’m weird because I love iPads but hate iPhones. I guess I want the best of both worlds owning an iOS and Android product. I use my iPad mostly for games and the screen is magnificent. The Samsung screen sucks.

I got the Tab A 128gb version a couple months ago on Cyber Monday cheap. I love it. Didn't want to get into Apple's constrictive system. I like android much better. Also being able to add another 512gb with an SD card was a bonus.
I know the 2019 tab A 10.1 has Dolby but you never mentioned if the iPad has Dolby.
2:00 You won't hear any real stereo separation . . . But that is not true because you can use your thumb to block one side and see for yourself that you can block either the right or left channel.
Plus the speakers are further apart on the Samsung.
I'd like to buy the iPad (but the 2019 10.2 version) or this Tab A 10.1 2019. Watching your useful reviews, they seems two good deals. I want a tablet that I can use for years without problems. iPad it's synonymous with quality, and I like it (although I never had one). Tab A has microSD support but iPad has 3 GB of RAM and will receive future OS updates (more future proof). I hope it will get one more update than the 2018 model, although it has the same CPU. The iPad has cool apps, for example GarageBand or Swift Playground or Apple's office suite or Shortcuts, and is ready for augmented reality. But I don't know if I'll use a lot these "jewels" (the creativity apps and extra features of Apple's tablet). iPad with iOS 13 can also be a laptop replacement for many simple tasks (I love its split screen/multitasking features). Maybe I won't replace my old laptop with another one, when it will become very slow or it will break. In these days in Italy the Tab A costs € 170 and the iPad is on sale at € 340. Do you think iPad 2019 is worth the greater expense?
Android tablets are trash
When looking at both tablets I concluded they are extremely neck and neck, the Samsung is $120 cheaper. Not a gamer, but need it for video streaming, Samsung wins. As a longtime iPad user I'm super glad I switched to this Samsung, just amazing!

But in this case the Samsung tablet is better even if you have an iPhone because it actually has a calculator app and the weather app while the iPad does not
